SPIRITUAL RESOURCES
Cornerstone Community Church, Singapore
Tons of excellent, challenging resources, including audio and video podcasts, from the most wonderful church I've ever known. You could mosey around in here for days. They post updates weekly. Watch their 6-minute Intro Video.
Art Katz Ministries
"What is preaching? It is thirty minutes to raise the dead." That could have been written about Art Katz. He was one of the most influential people in my life. His book Ben Israel - Odyssey of a Modern Jew, was an eye-opener. Art Katz has a way of making you see “God as He in fact is, and not as we think Him to be.” He was the first person I had to handwrite a 4-page letter of thanks to, and I never even met him. Nothing I say can do justice to him. Listen to him if you dare. This is a guy I avoid when I'm happy where I am.
Generations
Cornerstone's fantastic youth ministry. These teens go witnessing on weekends for fun, run to the altar during altar calls, grab the front row seats in church after the 6.15 am prayer meetings, get shunned by their families for being Christians, and preach to the President if they happen to see him at the beach.
Living on the Edge
Radio and TV broadcasts and more from the very practical teaching ministry of Chip Ingram
Desiring God
Resources from the ministry of John Piper. Features free sermon videos, audios, books, articles and online store.
WRITING
The Master's Artist
A writers' group blog
J. Mark Bertrand
A blog, fiction and essays by a literary writer who writes crime fiction.
While you're there, check out his other sites, Write About Now, a blog on the craft of writing, and Rethinking Worldview, a great book by him.
Faith in Fiction
Dave Long, Acquisitions Editor at Bethany House, has a blog, discussion board and craft studies here.
The Writers' Studio
One of the best things I ever did for my writing. They run 10-week online workshops in poetry and fiction. Their unique approach to teaching writing has students "trying on voices" and attempting a variety of different narrative techniques as a way of discovering their own material and personal voices. Founded by Pulitzer Prize winner Philip Schultz.
BOOKS (& CULTURE)
Hearts and Minds Books
A bookstore that offers quality books for the sake of faithful Christian living. They have insightful and quite entertaining book reviews, and are obviously passionate about what they do.
Books and Culture
A magazine that looks at the world of culture through Christian eyes, with an emphasis on matters of faith. Expect a diverse selection of thoughtful book reviews, interviews, personality profiles and film analyses.
Speaking of Faith
Krista Tippett, a former diplomat and graduate of Yale Divinity School, runs this public radio program, that centers around conversations about religion, meaning, ethics and ideas. Tippett uses the first-person approach to talk about religion, because hearing people talk out of their experience, out of their story, is fundamentally different from hearing their conclusions and doctrines first. A range of religious perspectives and voices help listeners see how religious impulses inform every aspect of life and culture. The Columbia Journalism Review says, "To listen to her show is to hear how intelligent and thoughtful religious people can be when they are allowed to be subjective and not merely regurgitate dogma." I heard her speak at the Calvin Festival of Faith and Writing. She's good.

FOOD
Epicurious
A fabulous place for foodies. You can find all the recipes from Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines here. You can do searches by ingredients, course, cuisine type, fork ratings, etc. Many of my favorite recipes are from this site. I have to stop writing, I'm starting to drool.
